Our intensive online German courses are the ideal choice if you need to learn German fast. With up to 3 live sessions per week (2.5 hours each) led by highly qualified teachers, you can complete an entire level in approximately 6 weeks.
This format is especially recommended for those preparing for a work or study visa for Germany, Austria, or Switzerland, who need to reach a specific level quickly, or who want to prepare for an ÖSD international exam. We cover all levels from A1.1 (beginners) to B2.
Each course includes full access to our virtual learning platform with interactive exercises, personalised tutoring, recordings of all sessions, and a certificate of completion. Small groups (max. 16 participants) ensure that every student has enough time to practise and receive direct feedback.

Frequently asked questions about our intensive courses
How long does an intensive German course last?
Each level of the intensive course lasts approximately 6 weeks, with 2 to 3 live sessions per week (2.5 hours each). It is the fastest format to complete a CEFR level.
How many hours per week does the intensive course require?
In addition to the live sessions (5 to 7.5 hours per week depending on the modality), we recommend at least 3–4 additional hours per week for platform exercises, revision, and self-study. In total, expect about 10 hours per week of commitment.
What level can I reach with an intensive course?
Each intensive course covers one complete sub-level (e.g. from A1.1 to A1.2). Starting from scratch with consecutive courses, you can reach B1 level in approximately 9 months — sufficient for many visa and employment requirements in German-speaking countries.
Intensive or extensive — which is better?
It depends on your availability and goals. The intensive format is ideal if you have a deadline (visa, job start, university) and can dedicate more hours per week. The extensive format works better if you prefer a slower pace alongside work or studies. Both formats offer the same teaching quality and materials.
Can I prepare for an ÖSD exam with the intensive course?
Yes. Our intensive courses include content aligned with international exam requirements. As an official ÖSD examination centre, you can take your exam directly with us after completing the course. Check the upcoming ÖSD exam dates on our website.
