By registering and paying for your course, you confirm that you have taken note of and accepted these general terms and conditions:
Participation Requirements and Conditions
- The minimum age for admission to online courses at Sprachzentrum Buenos Aires is 14 years.
- Full payment of the fee prior to the start of the course is an essential condition for registration and attendance.
- Students must have the required technical tools. These can be consulted on the Sprachzentrum Buenos Aires website. The camera must remain on throughout the entire class to allow interaction between participants and instructors.
- By registering for an online course at Sprachzentrum Buenos Aires, students agree to be broadcast live and recorded. Sprachzentrum Buenos Aires reserves the right to take photos and record videos of online classes.
- Students expressly authorize Sprachzentrum Buenos Aires to use exploitation rights over personal images (photographs, videos, recordings or parts thereof) obtained within the framework of services provided. Authorization is granted for advertising purposes, without time limitation.
Fees
- Online course fees will be those in effect and published on the institute's website at the time of each registration.
- These must be paid in full prior to the start of the corresponding course.
- The course fee does not include the teaching materials necessary for synchronous classes.
- No registration fee is charged.
- The fee for any type of course does NOT include registration for international ÖSD exams.
- Regular students of Sprachzentrum Buenos Aires receive a discount on international ÖSD exams at Sprachzentrum Buenos Aires published in the ÖSD section of the institute's website.
Registration and Payment Methods
- Pre-registration for courses is done through the pre-registration form located on the Sprachzentrum Buenos Aires website.
- Registration is considered complete once the pre-registration form has been received, the corresponding payment made, and the "Report a Payment" form completed. Students will receive a registration confirmation by email. Before the start of the corresponding course, the registered person will receive the links and passwords for the online course.

- Additional financial costs arising from the chosen payment method will be borne by the students.
Online Courses and Schedules
- Sprachzentrum Buenos Aires reserves the right to modify schedules and change instructors of the online courses offered.
- The institute may cancel online courses prior to their start if they do not reach the minimum number of registrations required. In case of course cancellation, registered persons may choose to join another course of the same level within available schedules or request a refund of the paid fee.
- Sprachzentrum Buenos Aires guarantees synchronous or asynchronous recovery of class hours not taught due to instructor absence, as well as official holidays.
- The institute will not be responsible for suspension of its services due to force majeure such as computer failures, natural disasters, fires, floods, government regulations, demonstrations, strikes, epidemics, pandemics, wars or other events beyond the scope of Sprachzentrum Buenos Aires.
Sprachzentrum Buenos Aires Services
- The course value includes items detailed in the corresponding course publication. Not included in the course are costs related to additional materials, such as computer hardware and software or other devices, personal telephone, internet or data package costs.
- Sprachzentrum Buenos Aires is not responsible for technical problems with students' computers or other devices.
Course Duration
- Course duration is detailed in each publication on the Sprachzentrum Buenos Aires website. After the course period ends, tutors or instructors cannot be contacted for corrections, consultations or any other course-related inquiries.
- For extensive or intensive online courses, the duration of access to each course's virtual platform is 3 additional months after the course period concludes, without online tutor attention.
- The period during which synchronous class recordings are available will be detailed in the course descriptions on the institute's website.
Course Changes
- Students may make a course change provided there are vacancies in the desired course. Such change must be requested by email through info@sprachzentrum.com.ar. A fee equivalent to 10% of the total course fee will be charged by bank transfer for the change.
- Course changes will be allowed in exceptional cases only within the first two weeks of class and between online courses of the same modality.
- If a change is requested to a higher-value course, students must pay the fee difference between the two online courses at the time of change.
- Students who make a course change after classes have begun must redo the tasks and activities on the platform corresponding to the new course.
Cancellation and Refunds
- Students who decide to withdraw from the course prior to the start of classes and enrollment in the virtual campus may request a refund of the entire fee paid.
- Students who decide to interrupt the course once it has started may not request a refund of the amount paid regardless of attendance or non-attendance at synchronous classes that have taken place.
- In case Sprachzentrum Buenos Aires cancels any of its courses, students affected by the measure may request transfer to another course with equal or similar characteristics or a refund of 100% of the amount paid.
Certificates
- Students of extensive or intensive online courses who complete complementary writing activities and partial tests in the virtual campus during the corresponding period receive a participation certificate from Sprachzentrum Buenos Aires through the campus at the end of the course.
- Students who also wish to take the optional online final test in the virtual campus, and have been actively present in a minimum of 8 synchronous classes, receive a certificate of the approved level with corresponding grade, if completed during the corresponding period.
Other Certificates
- If a student needs a certificate or proof different from those offered by Sprachzentrum Buenos Aires through the virtual campus, it must be requested by email to info@sprachzentrum.com.ar, will be paid by bank transfer and will have an amount equivalent to 10% of the total course fee.
Placement Tests
- Interested parties with German knowledge and students who have lost their regular student status by interrupting learning for a minimum of one semester must take a free online, asynchronous level test during the registration period in order to register for the corresponding level. This must be requested through the level test form located on the institute's website.
Individual Online Classes
- Individual online classes are paid in advance and by bank transfer, with a minimum of 5 days in advance before the start of classes.
- Class schedules that have not been paid with the minimum advance notice are not reserved or kept.
- Students who regularly take individual online classes must always pay a minimum of 4 weeks of classes, regardless of when in the month classes begin. Once classes are paid for, corresponding confirmation is sent by email. These classes are immovable. After the paid period ends, the student may request a new day or class time as long as they do so prior to payment of the following classes.
- In case of cancellations or interruptions of classes by the student, there will be no refund of the amount, regardless of the date on which the student cancels or interrupts their classes.
- In case the assigned instructor cannot teach a class and Sprachzentrum Buenos Aires does not have a substitute, the institute will contact the student and arrange a makeup date for the corresponding class.
- Individual classes may be taught by one or more instructors.
Use of Personal Data
- By completing the registration form, students give their consent for Sprachzentrum Buenos Aires to register the personal information provided in its electronic database in order to proceed with the requested registration, issue corresponding receipts, certificates and credentials, as well as send them general information about the institute, its courses and services. If they do not give their consent, this must be stated in the mentioned form.
- The holder of personal data has the right to exercise free access to such data at intervals of no less than six months, except when a legitimate interest is proven according to article 14, paragraph 3 of Law No. 25,326.
- The NATIONAL DIRECTORATE FOR PROTECTION OF PERSONAL DATA, Control Body of Law No. 25,326, has the authority to handle complaints and claims filed regarding non-compliance with personal data protection regulations.
Applicable Law, Competent Jurisdiction
- The contract is subject to Argentine law. Current Argentine laws and regulations will therefore be those that apply in this case.
- In case part or any provision of these conditions becomes ineffective, the other parts will not be affected in their content or validity. The ineffective provision will be replaced by another with legal validity as similar as possible in content and economic effect.
- Buenos Aires is agreed upon as the competent jurisdiction.
